New Junior Building Open!

Our staff have done a huge amount of work over the holidays and during this week to ensure a smooth transition into our new building. It was great watching the kids walk in for the first time, with almost everyone saying, ‘WOW!’. Click on 'READ MORE' for information.


Mental Health Week Choir

Our choir sang beautifully outside the library as part of Mental Health Week. Each child represented our school in a positive and responsible manner, reflecting our school values and displaying a love and passion for singing. They also participated in a Tai Chi session with other community members.

Sandhurst Division Basketball

Congratulations to our SGPS Boys and Girls basketball teams who represented the school at the Sandhurst Division Championships. Both teams were very competitive and displayed great teamwork throughout the day. The Boys team won 3 of their 6 games and the Girls won 5 of their 7 (one draw). 


Visual Arts News

On display in the BER building is a selection of Animal Portraits created by grade 5 and 6. So many great ways to create marks with pencils, erasers and smudging sticks. These are well worth a visit. Please click on 'Read More' for more Visual Art news.


Tournament of Minds

On Saturday the 18th of August our school took part in Tournament of Minds at La Trobe University. Congratulations Mr Daenke for preparing and supporting our students to participate in ToM. This was a huge commitment and was greatly appreciated by the students, their families and our staff.
