We are very excited to be having a Chipnic to celebrate reaching Level 2 of our Whole School Gugu Rewards chart! It will be held on Wednesday, June 26th. Well done, SGPS students!


NAIDOC Week 2024

NAIDOC Week will be observed at SGPS during the first week of Term 3. The 2024 theme is: Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud. This year's theme celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced.


Parent-Teacher Conferences 

Parent-teacher conferences will be held on Monday 22nd July and Tuesday 23rd July from 3:30 pm-7:00 pm. Booking details will be made available in a Compass alert next week. Please keep an eye out for this as our teachers would welcome the opportunity to discuss the progress of your child/children.


SRC News

We launched our lunchtime 'LEGO CLUB'! It was a fantastic success, with lots and lots of students coming to join! We have a small amount of Lego but are looking for donations to build up our collection. Please send your donations along with your child or drop them in at our front office.


The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

SGPS is excited to be participating. The Challenge is open to all Victorian children from birth to Year 10 in recognition of the importance of reading for literacy development. It is not a competition; but a personal challenge for children to read a set number of books by 6 September 2024.


Fresh Fruit Friday
