2022 Prep Enrolment Information


Thank you for considering Spring Gully Primary School for your child's education. We are very proud of our school and the broader community. Our inclusive and respectful environment provides our students with the opportunity to 'Be Awesome!'

 

We look forward to meeting you and hope you decide that our school is a good fit for your family. We invite you to attend our whole school open day on Thursday, 27th May 2021 from 9.00am to 11.00am.

 

2022 Enrolment Form - 2022 Prep enrolments close Friday, 25th of June 2021

Parents who wish to enrol their child at Spring Gully Primary School will need to fill out an enrolment form and return it to the school along with the required documentation listed below, via email to the school or by post to Spring Gully Primary School, PO Box 310, Strathdale, 3550.

The dates and activities below relate to our 2022 Prep intake. Prospective Prep parents are encouraged to partake in these activities.

Thursday, 27th May – 9.00am to 11.00am

 

2022 Prep Enrolments close Friday 25th of June 2021

 

Information Evening for 2022 Confirmed Prep Parents
Wednesday, 3rd November – 6.30pm to7.30pm. Information regarding additional orientation opportunities will be provided at this session.

 

Orientation Program Dates for 2022 Preps

  • Thursday, 11th November – 9.00am-10.00am
  • Thursday, 18th November – 9.00am-10.00am
  • Thursday, 25th November – 9.00am-10.00am
  • Tuesday, 7th December – 9.30am-12.00pm

Enrolment forms must be accompanied by:

  • Birth certificate or passport
  • Immunisation certificate
  • Visa information e.g. visa subclass number for students born overseas, residency status – temporary or permanent
  • Relevant legal documents (if applicable)

Yearly Activity Cost Schedule:

  • Parents are required to pay for excursions, camps, visiting artists and a variety of educational activities throughout the year and will be required to provide permission and pay for these activities before the activity is conducted.  This can be done via Compass.
  • Parents eligible for the Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) can use these funds towards these activities. Excursions/educational activities are an important part of your child's education and help enrich the class programs.

Our School Zone:

  • Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards
  • Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address
  • The Department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations
